Q. How long does it take to create my wedding cake?
A. It is a process during the week of your wedding day.
Q. Is the centerpiece tiered cake a fake form with additional sheet cakes to serve our guest?
A. I prefer to bake the cake in the tiers which is created out of two layers ,each with a special filling in the middle of each tier. This creates a more formal dessert serving for your special reception. Other options are available.
Q. Where should the cake be located at the reception area?
A. Besides the bride and her dress, the wedding cake will be the focal point at the reception. Locate it where your guest will easily notice it. Keep it away from dark corners. Have effective lighting to enhance it's beauty. Keep in mind the walls or backdrops to avoid having unsightly room monitors, postings, etc within your photographers cake cutting pictures.
Q. What is your advice to brides shopping for their wedding cake baker and designer?
A. Do not compromise on quality. Request a cake tasting. Request referrals from past completed orders in addition to viewing a portfolio of their work and specialties. Request a price quote so there will be no surprises.
Q. Does Anna’s provide the flowers to place onto the cake?
A. No. Your florist will provide the floral after you consult with them about your selection of the flowers for the cake which will coincide with the flowers you are having in your other arrangements. Anna will coordinate my time with the florist to have the cake set up as needed.
Q. Can we make changes after we place the order?
A. Yes, up to 2 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Q. When do we give you our final count?
A. When you receive all of your RSVP'S, 2-3 weeks prior to your wedding day.
